Darling Web Design was founded by Melissa Darling in 2001, after training at University of California Davis Extension on K Street in beautiful downtown Sacramento, CA.

It was there that Ms. Darling refined her web and graphic design abilities at the University's cutting edge Internet Technology Division. Through the Website Development Certificate program, her instruction included a wide range of subjects from the most basic information like that contained in the course "Internet Architecture and Services" to more complicated concepts such as "Web Database Connectivity Using ASP".

Throughout the program the opportunity to refine web design skills were evident with course offerings in the following areas:

• WebSite Functional Design
• WebPage JavaScripting
• WebPage Graphics
• WebPage Creation and Authoring

After earning a Certificate in Website Development in June of 2000, Ms. Darling put her new found skills to work when she was hired as Webmaster for the California Medical Association's county affiliate...the Sierra Sacramento Valley Medical Society where she is still a full-time employee. Her knowledge of web design was put to the test when she was required to build the Medical Society a brand new website from the ground up using today's interactive technology.
